My choice to change my major in my senior year of college, and take an extra year to finish my degree has been reaffirmed today. I made the Dean’s list for the first time since coming to Fredonia, and raised my overall GPA from 1 2.92 to a 3.13. I’m thrilled.
And she gave me a B in Critical Reading, despite failing me on the group project. I think she may have reconsidered that based on the comments I made about the project, and how hard I was trying as the semester ended. It was obvious I knew the material, I just couldn’t demonstrate it verbally the way I can in writing.
A in Novels & tales (Thanks Kaplin!)
A in Intro to the English Major (that was kind of a given)
B+ in Harlem Renaissance (that Plum Bun paper really killed me. I would have had an A otherwise =/)
& of course my B in Critical Reading.
This semester has been amazing. I can’t wait for next semester :)
