It’s amazing how one choice can bring about an entire chain of events you never expected. One seemingly innocent act can lead to an explosion of activity that you never could have possibly dreamed of. In the span of only a few days, you can go from seemingly invisible to pseudo-celebrity, and not even realize how quickly you got there. Life is a funny thing. And this…is kind of a funny story.

I wonder if he can see what’s on my mind when he looks at me with those piercing eyes of his. It’s as if he can see right through the facade. I try to keep it all masked behind a face of indifference, but I swear he can see right through me. And I know if I let my guard down for even a second, that mask will fall away and it will all be on display for the world to see.
